If you have no legitimate heirs
Syariah Implication: If you die unmarried, your estate will be distributed according to faraidh. Without a will, the appointment of administrators is subject to consent from all waris (heirs) and appoint two sureties with asset value equivalent to deceased’s estate. The estate distribution process may be inconvenient and burdensome to your heirs.
In your will, you may appoint and name one or more persons to manage your estate upon your demise.
